The department was founded in March 2004 on the basis of preliminary courses working since 1961.
Activity:
The main directions of work are aimed at preparing school leavers for future University life. They include:
- occupational guidance;
- organizational management of preliminary courses and creation of new forms of student preparation (for schoolchildren, students of technical \
schools and colleges);
- development of population’s computer literacy;
- organization of regional contests and mock examinations for school leavers.
The preliminary courses are aimed at preparing future students for entrance exams and Unified State Examination.
