Facts: The Correspondence Department was founded in 1962. Training was organized in the following specialities: Mechanical
Engineering Technology, Metal-Cutting Machine Tools and Instruments, Foundry and Welding Production, Diesel Engine Manufacturing. In 1984
the last graduation of engineers of the given form of training took place. Training at the correspondence department resumed in 1997. The
first enrollment was carried out for the Mechanical Engineering Technology speciality. Now the education is carried out in 13 specialities.
There are representative offices in Novozybkov and Klintsy towns (Bryansk region), in Lyudinovo (Kaluga region) and Roslavl
(Smolensk region). Training is carried out by qualified faculty. Distance Learning is in prospect.
