Educational Scientific Transport Institute was founded on the basis of technical chairs of The Transport Energetic Engineering Department in July 2007. Engineers in the field of designing, production and operation of railway mobile structure, mechanical-handing machines and motor transport are trained at the Institute.
There are 765 full-time students, 25 post-graduate students at the Institute. 72 faculty members teach at the Institute, among them there are 10 Doctors of Engineering Science and 52 Candidates of Engineering Science.
