Facts:
Educational Scientific Transport Institute was founded on the basis of technical chairs of The Transport Energetic Engineering Department in
July 2007. Engineers in the field of designing, production and operation of rolling stock, mechanical-handing machines, motor transport and
studying strength of machines are trained at the Institute. The University has been training engineers in the field of car-building for 75
years and in the field of locomotive building for 50 years.
There are 765 full-time students, 25 post-graduate students at the Institute. 72 faculty members teach at the Institute, among them there
are 10 Doctors of Engineering Science and 52 Candidates of Engineering Science.
