Academic and Scientific Technological Institute was founded in May 2006 on the basis of Automated Technological Systems Chair and Mechanical
Engineering Technology Chair, which were the basis of Bryansk scientific school of technologists.
There are 800 students, 10 post-graduate students and 3 doctoral candidates studying at the Institute. 50 faculty members teach at the
Institute, among them there are 11 Doctors of Engineering Science and 21 Candidates of Engineering Science.
